    Emily Heys completed her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Maryland in May 2017. Carlin Rabie ’11 married Emily Gupta of Walkersville on May 29, 2016. Was recently promoted to LTJG and received his wings of gold from the US Navy. He is currently living in San Diego flying a MH-60R helicopter with the Seahawks of HSM-41. Alison Kelley Bliss married Harrison Bliss ’11 on September 18, 2016 in Taneytown, MD. Many Hood alumni were a part of their wedding party and attended the wedding. Ali and Harrison are currently both working and living in Columbia, MD.

    This year, the Class of 2010 celebrated their 5th year reunion! Everyone in attendance had a great time reconnecting with classmates and attending the many fun activities that were offered! Here are updates from our class. In mid-June, Emily Heflin will be relocating to Atlanta, Ga., with her husband. They are excited for this new adventure in their lives! Stephanie Gardner recently got engaged and moved to Lancaster, Pa., where she is teaching Pre-K. She is busy planning her wedding which will be on New Year’s Eve! For the past three years, Kenny Smith, Jr., has been working as a technician for a lab. He still lives in New Jersey where he is very involved with his church and has become one of the deacons. On March 17, Ali Kelley got engaged to Harrison Bliss ’11. They are planning a wedding for September 2016!

    5th reunion, June 5-7, 2015

    Erica Royer recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s Univ. with a master’s degree in experimental psychology focusing on animal behavior and cognition. Her thesis research on dominance hierarchies in Caribbean flamingos was published in Behavioural Processes in Spring 2014. Currently, she works as an animal keeper with rare and endangered birds at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Va. Her primary areas include Guam rails and Micronesian kingfishers, both of which are extinct in the wild. Emily Heflin is still working at The Summit School and will start the 2014-2015 school year as the social studies coordinator; she was also promoted to school coordinator assistant! In December 2013 she got engaged to Arslan Khan. They had a traditional Pakistani religious ceremony and in summer 2014 she planned to have a traditional American wedding. She recently moved to Alexandria, Va. Ali Kelley started a new position as the assistant director of annual giving at Hood. She is also in her third year of coaching cheerleading at Maryland Allstars. Alyssa Moore recently accepted a new position at J. Spargo & Associates as a registration account manager and started in June 2014.

    Stephanie Gardner is now teaching 3rd grade at Cranberry Station in Westminster,MD.

    Tiffany Channing recently moved to Virginia Beach, VA to begin the Psy. D. Program at Regent University.

    Ali Kelley just started her fourth year at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School as the Communications Specialist and still enjoys coaching cheerleading at Maryland Allstars Athletics Inc.

    Katie Townsend is finishing up her first semester of nursing school through the Univ. of Maryland Baltimore’s bachelor of science nursing program at the universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md. Darby Williams is still living in Frederick and working at The Trail House on Market St. Chelsie Wolke Christie is a service coordinator working with people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities at Service Coordination Inc. in Frederick. Stephanie Gardner is a pre-K teacher in Carroll County, Md. David McDuffie ’11 is substitute teaching in Anne Arundel middle schools. During the weekend he is an MC/event consultant for Double-E Entertainment in Frederick. David also edits and produces videos. Emily Chambers is currently a human resource representative at Bechtel Power Corporation and graduated with her master of business administration degree in December. Tim Kuhn has been working as a case manager at Abilities Network, a support agency for adults with disabilities. It is a mix between both a job training and community integration program for people with disabilities  who live in Baltimore City. Alyssa Moore started a new job at the American Society of Civil Engineers as a conference coordinator. Ali Kelley is still working at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School as the marketing and public relations assistant. She has accepted a coaching position at Maryland All-stars Cheerleading and plans to coach two teams.
