Hello Class of 1997!  I’d like to thank Heather Rundle Rembold for being a wonderful class reporter for us the last few years, she did a wonderful job keeping us informed and I’m privileged to take the helm from her.  I’m Sara and I was at Hood from 1993-94 and returned home to Texas to finish my undergrad at Southwestern University, but my love for all things Hood is rather intense according to my family.  If you haven’t heard, there’s a new Facebook page for our class and if you haven’t received the invite yet, please e-mail me and I’ll make sure you’re included.

Congratulations to Kendra Soule Barnett with her husband and son Jacob on the birth of Jacob’s sister Vivienne June 4, 2013.  The Barnett’s moved to Michigan in 2011.

A huge compliment to Kenya Brown, who this past March received her M.S. degree in Conservation Science for Cultural Heritage, from the University of Bologna.  I know we’re all proud of her achievement and look forward to great things in her future.  Ben Fatto!!
