I, Michelle Inman have friended many of our classmates on Facebook. However, I don’t have permission to share or not to share what is on there. One of our classmates, Joann Colucci speak regularly on the phone and have plans to get together next summer (2018). The only news I have to report is my own. I received my masters in Special Education from an online program from Grand Canyon University. This January 2018, I begin my work towards my elementary education/minor special education classwork. In May of 2018, my older son Justin will receive his undergrad degree in Psychology/minor Chemistry from University of Kansas. He plans to continue his masters and doctorate work there. Nancy Gregg Poss ’92 lives in Seaside Park, N.J. Her girls are ages 19, 10 and 8 and her oldest is entering her junior year of college. She works for SICA Industries. I, Michelle Annette Barr, am engaged to a great guy Richard Inman and currently working several jobs. My oldest son Justin will be a freshman at the Univ. of Kansas and my middle son Neil will be in the eighth grade. My daughter Marrissa will be in the sixth grade. I hope all is well with my classmates!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. However, by the time you read this, we are sure that many Hoodlums in the colder climates are anxious for an early spring. Congratulations to Melissa Swauger Kretchman and her husband Keith on the birth of their son Connor, born Dec. 19, 2011. Melissa said that Connor is already walking and keeping them busy. Karen Labonski Abate wrote to share that Christine Bell Foster was married to Jeff Foster in October 2011. Karen Labonski Abate, Stephanie Bowen Fitz-Enz ’93 and Jennifer Teesdale DeHart ’91 attended the ceremony, which was held in St. Louis, Mo. Congratulations Chris and Jeff!

The families of Sally Altland Mason, Maureen Carron Morris and Melissa Swauger Kretchman had the opportunity to catch up with each other over the summer. Since they could not attend the reunion events, they met at Hood in August and were fortunate enough to run into a resident adviser who allowed them to tour Meyran Hall. They were able to see their former dorm rooms and tell their husbands and children about life in Meyran. They also walked around campus and were amazed to see all the changes over the past 20 years. However, they all agreed that it sure does not seem like it has been 20 years since graduation. There was not too much news to report this time, so we hope to receive a lot of news before our next issue!
