I just returned from Accepted Students’ Day at Hood. Both of my children, Emilygrace and Clayton, were accepted to the Class of 2018. Unfortunately, Clayton wasn’t able to attend; he was in Los Angeles on a mission trip. Emily and I had a wonderful time. I must say the campus is beautiful and the new buildings are impressive. While there I visited with Dr. Latkovski, he is as thoughtful and engaging as ever. I also spent time with Nancy Gillece, ’81 and Susanna Smith, 88. I’d be proud to see either, or both of my children, attend Hood College and graduate with the Class of 2018. Who would have predicted this?
